Very first time in the hand held reader market an innovative wireless charging system able to definitely solve the #1 failure generator of all the cordless scanners in field. It enhances the reliability of the entire solution, while lowering the total cost of ownership (no contacts means no need for contact cleaning or maintenance procedures).?
The scanner is always in the expected mode for the operator: when inserted into the stand, the device works in ?Stand Mode? for presentation scanning and intuitively switches into ?Hand held Mode? when the device is picked up.
Option 1: ?The HIGHWAY? (battery is charged through the cradle with power supply)
? 4,0 hours (no scanning) /?4,5 hours (scan while charging)
Option 2: ?The Scenic Route? (battery charged through the cradle connected to a standard 5V USB port)
? 10 hours (no scanning) /?13 hours (scan while charging)
The adjustable position cradle provides the flexibility to use the scanner in presentation or stand mode while it?s charging. The cradle allows multiple positions, from Horizontal to Presentation and Vertical positions and the associate can determine which is the best fit for specific operational needs. To further improve the robustness of the cradle (against accidental falls), a rubber Shock Absorber can be added (included in the box).
